Delete account

You can request deletion of your MedSearch account at any time. During beta this is handled manually — automatic in-app deletion will follow once we’re out of beta.

How to request deletion

  1. Email TODO_SUPPORT_EMAIL@example.com from the address you signed up with.
  2. Use subject line: Delete my MedSearch account.
  3. We will confirm receipt and remove your data within a reasonable time, then email you when it’s done.

What gets deleted

  • Your account record in Supabase Auth.
  • All collections, sections, and saved-paper rows tied to your user id.
  • All uploaded PDFs in private storage under your user folder.
  • All notes, highlight bullets, and PDF annotations.

Server logs and rate-limit counters may retain non-identifying request metadata for a short retention window before they roll off.

Delete individual items first (optional)

If you only want to remove specific items, you can delete individual collections, saved papers, PDFs, notes, and annotations directly from the app without contacting us.
